As an affiliate, you main purpose is to effectively promote a product or service. For you to achieve this purpose, you must be able to market with some conviction. It is therefore difficult to sell convincingly if you have not tried the product. Thus, as far as it is possible, try the products you are marketing.

Your customers will then feel the sincerity and truthfulness in you and this will trigger them to try them out for themselves. Never shy away from disclosing the products weaknesses if there are any. But you want to do that discreetly so as not to lose focus of your purpose.

Many affiliate marketers makes these mistakes and are paying dearly for their actions. To not fall into the same situation they have been in, try to do everything to avoid making the same mistakes.
