Play smart and safe with Google or “Go to Hell!”
No one wants to go to hell - but we sure like the pleasures of sin. Well the chances are that if you play with fire -
if you believe in hell or not, you will go to HELL!
In an article titled “Condemned To Google Hell” by Andy Greenberg 04.30.07, at
Forbs.com We read how Google can discriminately send you and your website to the Dog House - or better known as “Google Hell”.
Quote: “Google Hell is the worst fear of the untold numbers of companies that depend on search
results to keep their business visible online. Getting stuck there means most users will never see the site, or at least many
of the site's pages, when they enter certain keywords. And getting out can be next to impossible--. “
When your livelihood depends on the kindness of strangers [Google] you need to remember to play by the rules. In this
case - by the rules of the 800 pound gorilla called “Google”.
Your best bet to succeed in the online marketing business is to try to follow the rules as best you can. Stay abreast
of changes and what Google has to say. Join the
Google webmaster site and read up on what is going on.
The worst thing you want happening to your site [ you ] is to have Google sending your site to hell. Your goal is to
get the best SEO, so your site can maximize “Search Engines” and produce large amounts of traffic. Traffic is
key, traffic is King! Without it, you might as well pack up and leave.
It’s a challenge that in of itself trying to keep up with all the rules and changes - but it beats spending 6 months
to one year in Google hell. If it happens to you - don’t let it be because you purposely broke the rules.
