A “Strategy” to make money?
When
it comes to making money you need a plan, a strategy in order to make it happen and with some ease. First you should have
your own website and have a good idea on how to layout your site: Marketing 101
The layout a site is especially important if you want to use Adsense or any other
PPC online program and make money online with it. Google even gives you tips on where to place your ads in order to get better
results [ income ]. What people forget or simply don’t know how to utilize is their market niche and the topics that
are of most interest on the internet.
Take for instance Paris Hilton. Everyone is talking about her. She is a celebrity
not because she’s a star, an actress, or even because of her families fortunes. She is famous for being a pretty Blonde
girl who “Parties” like there is no tomorrow. A socialite that has made “celebrity” status for being
a debutant. Because she is so famous everything she does is in the news - now more than ever people can’t seem to stop
talking about her and she makes the perfect example of how you can make money from Paris Hilton
People are probably searching out every corner of the internet search engine trying
to find new news on Paris Hilton and famous people like her. It’s like a sickness - and those who want to profit from
her online will create entire websites on her and other starlets like her. But it’s hard keeping up with every little
bit of news that comes down or up the rumor mill. Besides, who has the time. My wife says I spend a lot of time online but
I don’t spend that much time on here.
This is where you need to get creative. You need to get feeds from other sources.
What ever kind of feed it may be, it needs to be self updating and entirely focused on your niche [ subject ]. You can’t
have a website on Paris Hilton and have the feed bring up news on bozo the clown - would be embarrassing [ for Bozo that is,
not Hilton ]. Again, the way you layout the site is important. Understanding that videos are the biggest draw on the “Social
Media “ seen - I would suggest using video for your feeds source of news. This also helps with being able to place Adsense
ads or PPC ads from other PPC programs. You want the ads to be as close as possible to the visitors eye’s as they focus
on the news feed.
Why is this important? You want your ads to be at eye level with the video and
close to it because most people will by pass all the text on your site and go straight to your video. I guess it has to do
with all the Myspace and you tube exposure they’ve had. You know, very short attention span. Chances are many of the
people who started reading this article never made it this far. For right now, it’s the best play for us.
Take for instance the example I gave you in Marketing 101. Not only do I have a video that promotes a product but I also provide a way to purchase that same product thru Amazon.com.
On top of that I have the PPC click ads - It’s sort of a double whammy. My point being is you have to plan, do a bit
more research and think about doing more than just one way to make money.
